That's all good, while IMHO 2 weeks are a rather small period to catch the attention of the most jaded part of those that purchased 1.0, it's much better than nothing. We'll also have to see if those two weeks will be added to everyone's playtime or only those that didn't resubscribe on their own, otherwise we'll get into a paradox in which people get rewarded for not resubscribing at all.

That post should have been timely translated by the admins here, instead of leaving us in the dark, which is exactly why I opened this thread. To ask for *clarifications* on the issue.

I'd say a clarification is needed because there are going to be a lot of disappointed people because of this.

Quite evidently Yoshida agreed with the fact that a clarification was warranted, since he bothered to post about it.

Actually it is mostly "My way". I got the clarification I asked for, and it's been determined that 1.0 owners are entitled to a free trial on top of the beta. It may not be as much time as I think would be ideal, but it's much better than nothing and I'm cautiously happy about the response.

Quite evidently those that said that 1.0 owners weren't entitled to anything besides beta have been proven wrong, and that's very positive, as it shows that SE didn't forget the game's early adopters and isn't just banking on beta to try and get those that left back into the game.
