Too bad that the post was on the Japanese forum, and we shouldn't be required to read Japanese in order to stay updated, nor to regularly check Reinheart's posts. As for a search, it brought up nothing relevant.

Apparently "you couldn't be bothered with using the search tool" as well, before arguing and grasping at all kinds of straws against said "complaint" topic (actually it's a topic requiring a clarification, necessity with which Yoshida evidently agrees) for several hours.

Actually it is mostly "My way". I got the clarification I asked for, and it's been determined that 1.0 owners are entitled to a free trial on top of the beta. It may not be as much time as I think would be ideal, but it's much better than nothing and I'm cautiously happy about the response.

Quite evidently those that said that 1.0 owners weren't entitled to anything besides beta have been proven wrong, and that's very positive, as it shows that SE didn't forget the game's early adopters and isn't just banking on beta to try and get those that left back into the game.

I actually would suggest removing any quote to Yoshida's post, I looked all over the place both for the original and the translation and I couldn't find it anywhere on this forum. Chances are that someone jumped the gun and posted something that he wasn't supposed to post.
