What sucks is for the people who don't happen to have a PS3 laying around. Because for them you can't just say "pre-order the PS3 CE". Not going to do them a lot of good. This definitely should have been done differently.
I'm not taking any actions until I call SE tomorrow asking them about my registration code. I understand why we can't, but it would be nice if we could just look up the registration code right on the SE Account Management page. That way I could cross-reference it with my CE or Standard.
