Is the CE (physical) going to be available outside the Square Enix store for NA? Nothing personal, but I would rather have it pre-ordered on Amazon or Gamestop.

The Buddy Pass is for all intents and purposes considered a "normal" SE account. The CE items are not tied to it, so you wouldn't qualify for these CE items without paying to upgrade.

I'm excited but I also have a question/concern!

I'm a legacy member. I want buy the FFXIV ARR Physical collectors edition. My concern is that I won't be able to register my codes from the ARR CE. Am I only able to upgrade to the digital? I hope not, as I want to movie, soundtrack, art book and more.

Gamestop just updated the links to the standard editions of the game. They'll probably have the CE available soon, along with other online retailers like Amazon.

The Legacy price-point wasn't present in the subscription options. Don't get me wrong, I'll play the game anyways and it's good to see that lowering the rate for advanced payments is back! Just wondering if it was omitted because of targeting new purchases or was it scrapped?

Found them on the german GameStop website. But both versions got the same info text concerning Artbook, CD etc. which is why I don't know if I should preorder or not :S

It hasn't been scrapped, there's just no point in listing it since it won't be an option for new players. The only thing listing would accomplish is saying "hey look at what you could have had if you were Legacy!" lol
