What I want to know is if us Legacy players get the preorder items or not.

I can't find any information that affirms this. It's a little disappointing that people who bought the original game, and I'm not even differentiating between standard, CE or Legacy players, seem to be forced into preordering another copy of the game just to get those fluff items.

@Bayohne, Where can we buy the Physical version of FFXIV in the UK? Amazon France have the standard and collectors editions up for pre-order on PS3 and PC, but Amazon UK has zilch. I want to pre-order them! T_T

Wouldn't it be cool if Bayhone came in here and said "players who own the 1.0 collectors edition will be able to order the physical CE items through the FFXIV service center, however they will have to pay postage" I would love SE forever if they chose to do that.

I don't think they will, and I am still grateful for everything they are giving 1.0 CE players and legacy players.

It likely means you can only apply the code while in that system. As in a PC code won't work on the PSN.
You won't suddenly lose items by switching from one client to another.

I too am wondering this. If I needed a new copy of the game, I'd totally pre-order to obtain the items... but the only thing is I already own the game so why would I pre-order a second copy if I'm not gonna use it? I've no interest in two-boxing. I'd just like some avenue to get the pre-order items for my existing account, even if it were for a small fee.

I am however very happy that I'll be able to upgrade my standard account for the ARR CE items without having to buy the entire CE complete with a new account code (I wanted the shades more than the onion helm, lol).
