Answering some questions

They haven't confirmed Spanish (language) (or Italian for that matter) (see below). In fact, I think they've actually said no to it for now, elsewhere. :/

First and foremost, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be released in summer 2013. It will be a worldwide release for the PC and PlayStation 3, available in Japanese, English, French, and German. At the end of the month we'll announce the release date, along with pricing and details on the collector's edition. We'll also start accepting preorders at the end of the month.

Will there be multiple new jobs available at launch/when is the earliest any new classes (other than ACN) will be introduced?

probably just Summoner. They have only mentioned that they want to add a bunch of others, but since they haven't made any announcements, the chance of them being in at release is minimal.
They cant give dates for anything, that isn't already planned for release.

The reason for asking this was for an answer better than "Probably not".
The ACN/SCH fiasco needs clarification for one, even though I'm sure they'll announce it soon if they do intend on adding it in for launch but that's besides the point. I know people are curious whether they have plans to add any new classes soon (DoH/L included) so I left the question vague. If they have nothing to say on the matter then they won't answer the question.

And frankly your reaction to some of the questions was generally rude and uncalled for, for example LlenCoram's question about fishing and temperature. We KNOW that weather has an effect on fishing, and in XI different RL seasons increased the frequency of certain weather types in game, so it's by no means a question that should receive such a condescending remark. Sure, the maps won't change with the seasons but that wasn't really the question, was it?

To be honest a lot of these responses were condescending and patronising, and I don't really see a reason why this thread needs to exist.

well yah, for release...i highly doubt that there will be anything else than Arcanist/Summoner.
Scholar fiasco...it's just people over analyzing stuff
But since they want to add some casters before DoWs, Scholar might be next in line.

yes, i just saw in LL, that they mentioned water temp, which shocked me it sounds strange they would do that.
subtitles are acting strange too, sometimes it doesnt show some text, so when i click back, there's subs i didn't see before, so i missed that earlier.
so i removed that comment.

Yoshi is quite restricted in what he can talk about, such as showing arcanist combat, yet people keep asking about stuff that he cant comment on. especially content that's not even finished, if even started.
and lots of the questions are stuff you could reason out with common sense.

and the post exists, to answer peoples questions; that Yoshi probably wont answer, or have answered already.
so i think it's better if people ask here first, and if there's no answer, then you can post it in LL-VII thread.

After all, isn't that what we're trying to avoid? More speculation?

Just seems to me like a lot of things answered with "maybe" and "possibly" are quite redundant here, since those questions you answered as such are the ones we need answers to in the first place =b

well i meant over analyzing it, as in: it's just arcanist, or is it 2nd job for arcanist, is it sage, why does it have book, it looks like this or that class, no it's scholar, no it's not, bicker bicker
She holds a book, and has scholar AF (as if the hat didn't look scholarly enough) ofc it's scholar now we just wait for official info on it (which yoshi won't do in LL, cause PR team gonna chop his head off )

ya i know speculations are bad
but i think it's safe to assume that they wont answer anything about scholar, until they at least make some official notice about it; so it just feels pointless to ask about it. At most they might say: oh we might be adding scholar at some time in the future
When i say *probably* only summoner will be in at release, it's cause i'm 99% sure it will be. Arcanist isn't even finished yet, which is why they can't show anything about it, so since no other class has even been talked about, the chance of any more jobs being there at release, is very small. But as you said, thats just speculations too it kinda depends on when the game will launch.
But this is also why i roll my eyes at some questions, and occasionally end up with those snide remarks -.- and why i didn't ask any questions myself yet
i just think people should think their questions over, a bit, before posting them; and i should think about my replies first ^^
