I think it was a running joke about the silly faces he was always pulling in the trailers - I can't remember who coined it originally but it was someone here on this site. I guess lacking anything else suitable the name has just stuck for him ever since.![]()
yea I refuse to call him that lol. I think its such a dumb word "derp" lol I mean yes he made some funny faces but derplander just sounds stupid to me lol that midlander is awesome! lol ^_^
It was me and Cedri lol.
And yeah, it was mainly because of the derp faces he made in the FMVs..especially the 3 in 1 emote. lol
He's still loveable tho!

I can't think of any other ways to word it, so I'm just going to quote myself, lol.
... I suppose I should also mention that I call him "Bob."I've always had a bit of a grudge against that name. Like most things that originated on South Park that people don't know originated on South Park (or, in this case, technically it originated in the movie Baseketball, also by the South Park duo), it's almost never used in the intended context. The Bill and Ted aloofness and amused confusion that Bob radiates in his scenes are, in my humble opinion, completely unlike the stupidity implied either by Mr. Derp or derp's antecedents, "duh," and "durr."

I never really saw him as a "derp"lander.
Especially after watching him fight in the trailer. Guy has some skills with an axe. He was cuttin em up and cuttin em down. I wouldn't call him derplander to his face. lol
Forgot his Bravura five years ago... and lose his helmet... He can't be a not Derplander for this![]()
Momo Ochita From Ragnarok
He lost his helmet because he was Standing there staring at the sky in the middle of a WAR
Is this statement supposed to explain how he lost his helmet, or explain why he is Derplander?
I'd like to think it's the latter... but it sounds like you are making this in response to the post about losing his weapon and his hat and it comes off a bit ambiguous...
