It depends if the case allows it to be facing down, and there's enough clearance from the psu bottom vent and the floor.
If you're on carpet, it's just best to have it facing up to reduce dust intake.
O.o
Performance scaling gets kinda bad after 2 GPUs, from what I see.
Still would be nutz though.
This PSU is bottom mounted.
The fan pointing upward, allows for the intake of cold air, to expel it out the back of the case.
If the PSU was top mounted, the intake would likely be on the bottom but still expel the air out the back.
Yea I finally caved in and did it.. I just bit the bullet so to speak.
Didn't want to have such nice hardware in such a garbage can anymore..lol..
It's like having a nice piece of furniture or an eye sore.
Guess it's just worth it for the Aesthetics.![]()

I see because my casing instruction was tell me facing down, so i guess if facing up would be better cooling. Thanks for the details.

If you ever do upgrade, it's a good case, not too pricey. Also nice that you can bottom mount the PSU, and face the fan down. There are vents on the bottom to allow cool air intake for the PSU air, and they come with removable microfilters.
Pre-ordered the 900D =] the PSU air intake is from the sideno to mention you can dual PSU. I would say it's the best case upgrade (well it is...) as long as you have the space.
Yea I would recommend the air intake facing up on a bottom mounted PSU.
It helps take any warmer air out of the case, as an added bonus when you do that and should improve circulation.
I think your PSU manufacturer, was assuming your case would have a top mounted PSU.
Nice, that should last you a very long time.![]()
My casing is bottom mounted with clear instruction facing down. I just wonder what happen if anything small drop into ur PSU, just my silly thought.
