I still get a little nervous (without the comforting sound/size of a real heatsink/fan), but I have been extremely happy with my self contained water cooling. It's low profile, so any airflow system you have for your GPUs is going to be much better. Not to mention it cuts a good 20 dBs off your case. I do get paranoid from time to time that it's not working though, since it's so quiet.

The good news that that any standard size 120 mm fan will lock in place perfectly, as the clasps provided with the Mugen are designed to fit in the screw holes, that are in a standard position for all fans
Heh, I never bothered to look closely at that.
    You are correct..
Great, I can run down the street to Tiger direct and get one now then.
Ohh with moooree blue LED action.
You gave me something to do, lol ty.
Going to go do that now actually. :P

I really have been wanting to try liquid..
I know it's non-conductive fluid, but working with such expensive components, I worry I might crack something, or do something else equally stupid.
There is no way the liquid can cause damage right?
Also is it easy to mess something up when installing it?
    Easy to maintain?

I'll be looking that way in the future maybe.
    I think I'd upgrade the cpu/mobo/memory 1st though.
Not bad though, as they are: i7 960 @4ghz, X58 mobo, ddr2 1600, 6 gb mem in triple channel.
Idk, Haswell doesn't seem to promising though..

Good luck, there are few things i hate more than attaching fans to the Mugen 2, those clasps are the very definition of horrible.

I sure hope the final game uses Sli and Crossfire..

That's one OC'd titan and I beat it on air cooling.
As well as one or more other Titans in the list.
If I go liquid, I can go even further.
My score is actually 3rd place atm. 4384

scroll to the end, 680x 2 beats Titan.

Plenty of examples in multiple AAA titles I found, before I made the choice..

I have looked at the numbers.
While I use more power, I will indeed beat one Titan.
Just saying. I did my research :P.

    Also I am using an i7 960.
Not a 3960 cpu, so that will cost me some score for sure.
Good point though about the bottleneck.
I'll have to pull a CPU/Mobo upgrade soon.
Go all out, SLI a pair of TITANS

Yea, when I took the clips off, one of them went flying and I lost it for like 10 mins.
Was shitting myself, thinking I'd start it up and Bam!, sparks and smoke..
    But I found it..
Thing had managed to fly way outside the case.. XD

I went ahead and bought 5 new, 120mm fans and put them in.
Did a bit of cable management as well.
Looks very nice with the extra Blue LED on the CPU cooler.
    Temp dropped a few degrees.

Case has 3, 200mm fans already in it.
    +
    1 on the Mugen.
1 in front of the Mugen, inside the peripheral stack.
1 one behind the Mugen as well.
2, stacked vertically in font of the GPU's.

    Ty for the advice.
Much happier with the appearance now.
It's my first schmexy PC. :P

You bought the same case that my buddy did when we both just built some new PCs.

    I built mine as:

    Win8
    i7 3820 @ 4.2ghz
    Nvidia GTX680 2GB
    8GB DDR3 1866MHZ
    1000w PSU
    Corsair H100 Liquid Cooler
    NZXT Phantom Case

Not having too much luck with the benchmark currently because of drivers, but I should be overkill on ARR when the drivers get sorted.

The phantom cases look pretty nice. ^^

I like this case a lot so far.
It's well thought out. It offers great cable management, with removable side panels.
<3 the 200mm fans all over the place.
The slide in, side facing, HD slots are a nice touch.
Front top, mounted USB ports and SSD mount externally.
All in all, I really enjoy the look and useability of it.

Yea, your system is going to be plenty for ARR.

    Right now my build is:
    i7 960 @ 4ghz. (Skythe Mugen 2 air cooling)
    3x 200mm fans 5x 120 mm fans.
    2xGTX680 in SLI
    3x2 gb ddr3 1600 in triple channel
    Corsair enthusiast semi-modular 850 PSU
256 gb Corsair vertex 4 SSD
    Gigabyte X58 mobo

I'd like to upgrade the cpu, mobo and ram eventually.. But eh, no rush...

And yes, SLI doesn't work in the benchmark. I got up to 8909 with my OC'd 670 though. I plan to buy another 670 before launch.

Man, I wish my case had the bottom mount PSU...but I can never justify buying a new case when I upgrade =/

one question about the PSU installation, the Fan side not facing down but up? Is it better this way?
