How are they part of the player base when they are not playing properly, if they are actual people at all? Do we have Carte Blache to Violate the Terms of Service until the Battle System gets updated?

What is realistic about giving such a false crowd more respect than the actual players? How long before that large percentage becomes untouchable like FFXI Windower?

If SE kicked the botters it would have at least 25% less paying customers, probably more like 40-45%. SE is a buisness and as much as you would them to be on your side, they are for profit. Time will tell but I can pretty much garuntee you there will be no boting crackdown anytime soon.

The only bots I have problems with are claim bots, and bots that hack through walls and attack things on the other end of the map. (There was one such bot in Nanawa for some time, I found it amusing to see it start attacking and then go through the wall).

Just where are you pulling this number with a suspiciously wide margin of error from?

I want SE to be on its own side, being lax with the enforcement of bots and rmt is going to be bad for the long term of the game, and it is bad now, they are not paying for the game yet, so they are offering no benefit whatsoever other than providing a basis for undermining the game , its community, and potential profits.

Running roughshod over the TOS isn't a way to commercial success. Neither are your fallacious claims about who plays this game.

Though this may be true to some degree, these examples do not deal with SE or the game, so they are not viable examples to support your argument. Not to mention the idea of "cheating" in terms of one aspect permits the "cheating" in another is a poor excuse. There's also no need for name calling. In the end, players can continue to justify the use of third-party tools or what have you, but they'll find that they will be wasting their time in regards to the STF.

I know of at least 20 players myself that can craft for 8+ hours in a session and we all talk together all day doing the same thing. I have been asked by many players, am I a bot? wtf... Just cause I can craft longer than you in 1 session doesn't mean I'm a bot. I watch TV or a movie or even sometimes work at the same time. It takes 0 ability to spam the enter key all day.

I know those bots you are talking about though, they never move, mostly sit in LL next to the fish counter etc. I do believe they give us real crafter's a bad name. I myself have reported at least 10 what I think are bots on Fabul. Those bots still remain on the server. Maybe they aren't really bots?

if it wasnt for how talkative i am while im sitting around crafting im sure people would think i was a bot too
