1.0 Ul'dahn story arc

Not that this necessarily contributes to anything, but Greinfarr was also featured in the Gladiator class quests. There was a fight with a lot of money riding on it between himself and J'moldva. (the Miqo'te featured in the Lancer class quests) He helped her escape to Gridania after she "lost" the match.

Nice write up. I've never experienced the Ul'dah side of things pertaining to the story, so it was interesting to see they have their own lingering questions. Who killed Niel is probably the biggest one. Also when you mentioned that "something much worse than the Empire" was coming, that seemed to be a pretty obvious (well, after the fact anyway) foreshadowing of the Ascians. Ferne/Yoshi-P have also mentioned they will return in the new main storyline, so it'll be interesting to learn more about them.

But ascians seems danger but not the danger they are looking for.. maybe related with ascians.. Cuz I think ascians was in the world for a lot of time.. not just popped now, so they are a danger already known...

Well the Danger for alla eorzea is already passed?

If we live in 1572 and the flashback was fifteen years... well exactly in that time will be happened a lot of stuff!

1. The Empire conquer Ala Mhigo (but the danger isn't the empire)
2. In these Years, there was the Primal awakening, in fact first summon of Ifrit..
3. oh yes.. don't forget the battle of Silverlake Tear!

(other things are added after so i don't think can be)

So i always more convinced that the danger was the Primals Awakening... But now with the Dalamud story... will be the same?

We're supposed to act as if that calamity seen in the Echo was the falling of Dalamud. Whatever original story 1.0 had was scrapped in favor of Dalamud falling. Who knows if we'll ever know what was really supposed to happen, but what we do know is that the Archons were repurposed for the new Dalamud storyline, and while we'll have quests that will explain what happened with Nielle etc, I don't think we'll really know for sure what the original Calamity was supposed to be.

Yoshi P said in an interview that Dalamud was altered to fit with the changes IRL, but that this would not impact the original lore. The addition of Nael Van Darnus is probably one of the alterations, considering that he is not (as far as I know) part of the 2.0 story. The tomb of Xandes (now known as the Crystal Tower) on the other hanad may have been part of the original story since they both have their roots in places that were available to explore at the original launch.

The original story may have been drastically altered, but not the lore.

There's not a big difference there. They would have to adjust for the occurrances in the Seventh Umbral Era, but in the cinematic released, the Crystal Tower is there likely with Xandes inside. It may be that Xandes is ressurrected and that they accomplished what they were trying to do via the ressurection spells or other means. Other characters may be present. It's rumored that the Cloud of Darkness (or a lookalike antitypical version) maybe present as well... which I can imagine may be how Ascians are tied in????
