    From Left to Right:
    • Eolande (Prior of Frondale's Phrontistery)
    • Dewlala (Director of Milvaneth Sacrarium the OTHER Thaumaturge guild)
    • Teledji Adeledji (Owner of the Mirage Trust and Prince of Ul'dah and Sultana Nanamo Ul Namo's brother)
    • Fyrgeiss (Chief Foreman of Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern)
    • Lord Lolorito (Owner of Sunsilk Tapestries and Eshtaime's Aesthetics and proprietor of the East Aldenard Trading Company)
[*]Raubahn Aldynn (who of course we all know)[/list]
I took these pics today because I wanted to show everyone who The Syndicate really is. They are rich and probably the most influential people in all of Eorzea...and in some cases the most ruthless. At least in Lolorito's case with the involvement of selling to Garlean merchants and his actions that lead to the frozen-death-state of Niellefresne.

Not exactly part of the Ul'dah storyline but I wanted to make a post for the Syndicate Members just for a reference for others, instead of making a separate thread and tossing in all kinds of speculations.

How about you turn that around? Fyrgeiss is the owner and the Twins' father is the guildmaster? Much like how Lolorito owns Estheims, but is not its guildmaster.

Also, still not buying that Lolorito hired Nielle's assassin. Nielle was worth more to Lolorito alive than dead. The dude's mentality is a corporation, the very definition of being driven to profit, and Nielle's death would not be profitable. Trading the Garleans out of a war, on the other hand, would.

Indeed, I read in 2 different places 2 different things about the Miner's Guild. I had to actually go back to the Miner's Guild quest and Linette refers to Popokkuli and Seserukka's father as the guildmaster. Also when the Lala Twins stop the miners from harassing Corguevais, they say only Father can deal with trespassers which made me think he was the only one with absolute control. Amajina and Sons was named after a bar wench named Amajina during the great Mythril Rush, the 'and Sons' seems to be tacked on by the guildmaster(s) because the line has been all male until Nenekko.

If Lolorito wasn't the one that hired the assassin to get back at Nielle for stealing the dagger, which I reckon Lolorito would have given specific orders to the assassin to recover the dagger or better yet the stone on the pommel. Then I guess you could look at the Thaumaturge guild itself, a wealthy merchant upon death had given the Ossuary a will that stated they should seek revenge on whoever/whatever caused his unnatural death, in return they were given part of his wealth...maybe Warburton had a similar 'revenge-will,' and since the plan at the Parade was Nielle's..he was the one to suffer. Only Nielle dropped the Heartstrike dagger and the stone put him in his frozen-death state.

Nielle's death was very profitable..as a result Nielle and Colbernoux's father was forced away from his position as guildmaster and Lolorito could put in charge someone who's spawn won't steal from him. Not to mention Colbernoux still works there and feels he has to stay there for Nielle and his family's stake. Not to mention Nielle sought to rise above the Syndicate with his closest friends and be heroes in the eyes of the people so that they would have the voice when it came to the Garleans and the other dealings.

SE tells us...I mean The Mythril Eye tells us that even though they go along with Raubahn Aldynn, you can't exactly 'trust' them based upon their reactions. Some put profits before the city itself..

I'm just not one to trust greed I guess.
