    The one I got for FFXI still works. Got it when they first came out. Still have the 1 from the CE as a backup. Don't think I will be needing this any time soon

    My only concern with this is if its handled similarly to SWTOR's token phone app. If you factory reset, root, flash a new ROM, switch phones etc you cannot simply just reinstall the app and have it magically work. With SWTOR you also cannot request they remove the token from your account through live chat or email, it has to be over the phone. Now you can say, "so just call them and stop complaining" and in theory that's fine. The problem is if SE is anything like Bioware in their phone support, no one is going to want to have to deal with it. I sat waiting for an hour on hold for someone before I gave up and decided it wasn't worth giving SWTOR another chance at that rate.

    I ~love~ the idea of the convenience of having it on my phone. I do not love the idea of not being able to play because I decided to try out a new ROM/dropped my phone in a puddle and customer support isn't open on weekends.

    SE, can you give us a clearer idea of what will happen with the app in these situations?

    Indeed, I won't use this if I can't use my physical token alongside it. I've more chance of losing my phone than my token plus in 99% of cases the physical token will be more convenient. Pushing a button on my desk is easier than grabbing phone, unlocking it, opening up app and generating a code.

    if you have an Iphone then the app should get added to your Itunes account and your set

    also stop losing your phone that is a expensive bad habit >:[

    If SE has any sense they'll allow you ways to de/reactivate your code if your phone is lost. And tie it to your current security token.

    Your other complaints just sound really, really lazy.

    talking about SWTOOR, i tried to call em no body pick up, i gave up.. lol i can never get my Character back ;_;

    It IS possible. I registered and on my account info, there is an "emergency code". In SE's own words they say to use this code if your phone is lost/stolen/destroyed/etc.
