Lore Naming Conventions. Will we be able to include an apostrophe now?

If someone were to hypothetically tell you about whether or not apostrophes were to be legal characters, they would need to be authorized to do so by Square Enix - because I'm certainly not going to tell you whether or not it seems to be that way as of right now.

Maybe they'll talk about it soon and then we'd be able to discuss the implications. It certainly would be silly of them to tell you naming conventions that you couldn't use, though. I can tell you that much!

I see what you mean. It's like how emails don't care whether or not you have a period in the name.

For example, sending to hyurmid@eorzea.com or hyur.mid@eorzea.com would go to the same email.

Well, it works that way in Gmail. Haven't really tested with other mail servers.

If Miqo'te lore uses apostrophes in names, then I would also like to see apostrophes in names. Otherwise, I can see several reasons why Square would disallow them, not the least of which being parser shenanigans with slash commands.
