Judging by the fact you're rank 50, since the content wasn't targetted at you it's pretty easy to see why you're saying what you're saying without realizing there needs to be "filler" content that even low levels people can enjoy. It's not there to fill the hole of content, its there to give low-mid level people things to kill to obtain gear, as they've stated it was specifically targetted towards mid ranking players.

NM camping is here to stay, because that's what open world content is, there will even be a pop system no doubt as XI uses it heavily the past 2 years. XIV truly doesn't need to become another instance dungeon crawler, oh and:

This is not new is been done before many times, i can vouch is the must fun ever, and it was not even on ffxi nor wow.
Dungeons =/= end game.You can even exp of dungeons runs.
You can have dungeons for all leves.It brings the community together.
Don't know when you quit FFXI, but XI had tiered dungeons, not the westernized dungeon design though. Dynamis, Einherjar, Limbus, Promyvion and even Abyssea works on tiers based on the 'storyline'.
