Wonder why I see other people with basicly identical PC parts. Same CPU, same GTX690, same amount of memory etc etc, but my score swing between 7200 and 6900. While others who uses the same stuff as I do, has 8-9000+ score.

There ARE some arcane things that make a computer give different results. If your machine is cramped in a corner or it's a particularly hot day it can take a hit in performance, if you're in the elemental place of ice- I mean Canada- it can have a performance boost.

Computers are finicky sometimes because they're susceptible to external factors. I ran the benchmark twice with the same settings and got two results 500 apart

According to EVGA Precision X, My GPU was stable at 36degree Celcius, and my Motherboard even lower, so it isnt running hot or anything. The PC case is a CM932 BIG, which has 4 big fans, and uses the Corsair H100 CPU cooler.

I will just wait and hope SLI is supported. I normally shy away from SLI setups, and might even sell my 690 for the Gtx Titan instead XDDD

I avoid multi GPU setups. I read a lot of reviews of GTX Titan. It's not quite as fast as GTX 690, however it's more consistent since it doesn't rely on profiles made by NVIDIA.

I have order a GTX Titan, hopefully I can get next week. However, being in the elemental place of ice it might take awhile. I'll post benchmarks when I get it.

How to enable/disable SLI

Remember to enable SLI when you go to play other games. You will get monster performance when NVIDIA updates their driver game profiles to support FFXIV ARR. This probably won't happen probably till it's close to launch. This is one of the quirks you have to put up with with multiple GPUs.

OMG I am so screwed now (
I turned off the 2nd GPU, and now I cant log into Nvidia Control Panel to put it back on as it says:

You are not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia GPU

I tried connecting my monitor to other connectors as well as all the DVI and MiniDP on the card itself, but nothing would show up on my screen

Is there any help or do I need to take my PC into a PC repair place to get it fixed

I'm looking it up. There should be no issues disabling SLI.

Edit: Try this
1. Reboot
2. Or reinstall latest video card drivers.

Phhheeeewww. I managed to sort it by going into Devices on Control Panel and reactivated the shut off GPU. All is well.

Quite the scare that I did not need right before bed lol. I will deffo go buy a Titan GTX when I can buy it and when they are in store here in Norway

Nah. I dont blame you at all. I sat there, should I or should I not. I did so it was my choice xD
