Having solo content is fine. Sometimes I want to just be left alone and play the game. Its when they make it TOO solo that it becomes a problem, which is what some people want (weather they are admitting it or not).No one is asking devs to make MMOs more solo oriented, but asking devs to put in stuff that you can also solo besides the group stuff is really nothing to get upset about. If anything it would bring more people to the game who then would get to know more people to do more stuff with.
Having stuff to do for everyone, group or solo is much better than only forcing people to do things that require a group. Say you log in one morning and few people are online, should you turn it off and return later just because there's nothing to do besides crafting? Or would you rather go do some quests that you can do alone until more people get online? Does that make you an anti-social person?
Having solo content in a MMO does not mean it will become a single player game. This topic have been talked about a lot on these forums.

But that's your choice to do that in GW2. Lol.. Which is the point. It's YOUR choice. It seems to me like you want people to play a game your way, which is less solo more shouting for hours for an XP group.. That's just how I am reading into you. I could be wrong since I'm running off a few hours of sleep.
No. This is a discussion. Ive told you my opinion on the matter. We are discussing it. I could care less if people want to solo in the game. I just dont want the GAME ITSELF to end up getting boring for me like some other solo heavy games that I played for 2 months and got tired of. I want a good game that I can enjoy for years to come. I enjoyed FFXI for 6 years. When the game started getting more and more solo/easy I got bored and left. I like to be challenged. I dont care if there is solo content, I just dont want it to get too excesive and cause the game to get boring too fast. But that's your choice to do that in GW2. Lol.. Which is the point. You don't have to worry, SE has stated many times that they plan to implement 24 man raids, or 16? can't remember but raids are going to be implemented. But If I see you doing FATE! which is kinda a solo event, you just go "Alone" and do FATE while others are doing it too no need for parties, but yea if I see you doing FATE there will be trouble as FATE is implement for people to have something to do solo, even tho the event will have many people doing it, it's still something one would do when they are playing solo.No. This is a discussion. I asked a few pages back, what is FATE??You don't have to worry, SE has stated many times that they plan to implement 24 man raids, or 16? can't remember but raids are going to be implemented. From what you've said it sounds like Open World Bosses/Events like GW2 has (which I only did if I happened to be there doing something already when the event started).
However, if there is some gear/item/really cool thing there to be had I'll probably do it until I get it. Im a gearist. Not necessarily JUST for the stats. I like to look cool too. I have several subligars cause lets face it...they are subligars...And the very..erm...skimpy...armor that was released shortly before 1.0 shutdown.
Also I hope we get some kind of "cosmetic" tab in our armor tab.

I don't know who those people are but yes a MMO should not feel like a singleplayer game with co-op. There's plenty of those out there that you can play without a monthly fee. But the more you can avoid having people stand around and do nothing but wait in a MMO the better.
I don't think you have to worry about the game being "TOO solo", after all it is an mmo, like many people have said, there is something for everyone in ARR. And trust me after you stand around for 2-3 hours waiting to find the perfect level 10-12 xp grind party, while your friends went out and did some quests alone and are now level 20, you too will jump on the quest wagon!
mmmm I doubt that lol. Im usually the guy standing in uldah shouting for 4 hours, or joining someone else's shout. While questing is fun, its not my cup of tea usually. I wanna fight the big stuff. Oh look theres a dragon 10 stories tall. LETS GO POKE IT WITH A STICK! I'll kite tank something for 4 hours if I think I can get people to help me lol. I gained my hardcoryness from FFXI endgame. only 3 people at khim camp? NO PROBLEM I GOT THIS SH*T!!! 5 hours later *ls logs in* "hey guys whats up" "KHIM!!!!!" "omw!"
