What exactly is 'Skin tone'? I really don't know what I'm meant to be looking at. The top one looks better to me..

They are both shown in different lights, this makes a HUGE difference.
By skin-tone he probably meant skin definition, how clear it is that its actually skin (Not just a solid colour)
The difference isn't that phenomenal from the two screenshots he's shown really.

Personally, I don't see the fuss. This game looks great so far considering how much they're having to limit it.

To summarize- ARR graphics are very, very good. By MMO standards. 1.0 graphics were better. Much better if you have a computer that could handle it.

But we knew this was coming so whatever.

We might have been a little prettier in 1.0. Faces seemed a little more detailed in 1.0, and the shading was more subtle and nuanced.

It seems like no one gets that no matter how much they try to get that point across.
