Yes you were right "blindly" but in the end you were right. When you said it it was a "Guess", now it's a "fact". But I did say on Numerous occasions that we would get a "date" in the Next letter (Not Live letter that a lot of people got into their heads for some reason).

Common sense just dictated the 25th or thereafter. Once the Live letter date was picked it pretty much sealed the 25th.

That gives you one more week of Fire Emblem. You should be happy it's a good game, although i get a headache looking at a 3ds longer then 30 minutes.

Thankfully I don;t play in 3D (because it hurts my eyes or that I'm just not use to the whole 3Dness).

The date could have flown either way, He could have just had a live letter with us enjoying it (like he did in the Alpha Version). This time is different apparently lol, which is fine not a big deal it's only 10 days away and 10 days of Getting my best team possible for Fire Emblem to put on streetpass to see if anyone can beat it .

Benchmark comes before Beta in 9 days or less. So you have time to ponder upon which of those 9 days will hold the Benchmark :P.

Again, hardly call that a delay. and if your use your head, You actually "need" the Benchmark, to see if you can "actually" run the game -.-.

Hopefully the FATE bosses will be dynamic and offer challenge. If they use that as a leveling route though it's probably just going to be tank and spank. Which imo is a waste of time.
