I have a source and they say in the Next letter ( which he said yesterday that a Normal Letter is coming bundled with the Beta Start date) Now you maybe right that it can start on the 25th which is fine also. However, people are saying " Live Letter= Beta date release" when in fact it's coming in the Normal letter. If they wanted to release it at the live letter they would have said " Live letter" and not just letter.

Yes you were right "blindly" but in the end you were right. When you said it it was a "Guess", now it's a "fact". But I did say on Numerous occasions that we would get a "date" in the Next letter (Not Live letter that a lot of people got into their heads for some reason).

I'm happy just knowing the official start date. Now I don't have to check lodestone ever other hour for updates.

I'm a bit confused though... do Legacy players need to wait for a beta key email or is our account automatically activated for beta? I want to know so I don't break my refresh button.

I believe your account gets flagged as Being a Beta Tester at the same time you receive your e-mail. That's just a guess though considering I wasn't in Alpha.
