Also to poster above, I feel your pain, this place is like lighting yourself on fire because you are bored, only pain comes from the official forums.

I have to confess, my heart races a little faster every time I see that Fusie's posted! Today is a good day, and I hope he reaches 1,000 posts on-form.
Btw, most of these 'problems' aren't WoW's fault... BLAME LoTRO!
On topic, it's impossible to make a valid judgement on the issue until we see what other changes have been made. If every one of the (stated) large amounts of quests gives us an adequate gear reward; if crafting is quick and easy to level-up (aside: IT IS); if the AH/MW/??? ends up being atrocious; if the (stated) materia overhaul balances this all out...
Yeah, initially I was like "cool!", but then I was like "ohhh", but now I'm just kinda "mhm'kay".
Yeah, remember getting that rare Haubergeon drop? Those rare Scorpion Harness drop rates? Remember getting those ultra rare Errant drop rate? None of those were crafted at all, they all dropped, in full, from NMs.They did this with NM drops in 11.
Remember the droprate?
yeah, that's because over many years, if the droprate is good, the price goes down to worthless.
They later then changed the items to rare/ex to prevent the bottoming out of prices on non-rare/ex items.
If you want 2% droprates on NM's and bosses, by all means, let everything be tradeable. Otherwise, think before you type.
>.>
They changed many to R/EX because people were bitching about competition and RMT hogging NMs.
This is the NA forums, the forums with not necessarily more players using it, but significantly more same threads than any other region forum on lodestone.
Actual tl;dr: The typical MMO gamer who takes a video game too seriously and rails on others that doesn't have it 'as tough as them.' There's a reason SE is making ARR a casual playground whether people like it or not.
blipp...blipp...blipp... Sarcasm detected!!!! Sarcasm detected!!!... Man the battle stations!!!
lol...in all honestly players who believe themselves to be "casual" always find something to whine about. They're so paranoid of being excluded from something that they believe the entire game needs to be tailored such that every aspect suits them. SE could give these players exactly what they want and they would still complain and lament their perceived lack of great gaming experiences. SE should really just stop trying to please the casual because it honestly can't be achieved.
Not saying this to be mean, but from what I have observed it's generally true of that community of players. What SE is adding isn't necessarily anti-casual...
