It's rare I get on any kind of voice chat. I don't mind proving I'm a woman if that ever comes into question, but totally not cool with being forced onto voice chat all the time just so I can listen to someone drop F-bombs every 5 minutes about how unfair the game is, totally not my cup of tea D:.

Text chat is just so much more relaxed for me, kinda like interaction is on my terms and I'm not forced into having a conversation with people I hardly know.

...Unless it's Vil, I'll totally get on voice chat for you anyday haha

And yeah I get what you mean. If I stay on mumble for too long I start to get annoyed/headachy, so unless its right before/after an event where we linger around and talk about random stuff, I usually shut it off and listen to music/stare at Skye's Thancred sig/think of ways to destroy Thancred...I mean uh...play the game.

Yep, my linkshell does it all the time. We always talk to each other.

XD You're fine Vil! one of my old LS leaders was like F*** this and C*** that, it really killed my game experience so I grew to hate chat even more-so. I'm a pretty private person, I don't mind text chat but if I feel like I'm forced into a voice convo I get narked and I'd just much rather chill on my own unless it's with an exceptionally cool bunch of people... and even then not too often D: lol.
For events/dungeons where it can be necessary then sure, but as soon as that event is over I am G-to-the-one.

I feel you 100% on the rest of what you say XD I wouldn't say I'm reclusive irl but I do LOVE my own space. I'm alone for most of the day working, husband comes home and that's the general amount of social interaction I get. Much more than that and I get all flustered XD

I can do the social thing, but it's just so much easier not to. haha.
Parties are over-rated anyhow!!
