I personally woulda probably used a ps3 controller or something different, the reason i used xbox 360 is i already had one for games for windows, they make it easier cause instead of when you start up a game having to map all the keys to your gamepad you can just tell it to switch over to the xbox 360 controller and it automatically switches over to the controller and maps the buttons to exactly how it is on the xbox 360 console.

Get a XB360 gamepad. You're pretty much guaranteed compatibility without messing around settings or driver software with modern games and emulators.

it's fairly small keyboard compared to the standard one I'm force to have on my lap while I use my control-pad. I still have this one but only works with the PS2.

On PC, it also works as a Wiimote-like pointermouse.

I had this other controller but the rubber pads broke and pressing anything was useless that why i end up getting a Xbox controller.

Edit: for 80$ it better have good rubber pads and be a lasting controller lol

I do. I bought mine over a year ago with a scandinavian layout (has Ä, Ö and Å) for ~90 euros.

Rubber feels slighty slippery and smooth, unlike PS3's rubber. I'm guessing the feeling is closer to X360's rubbers. What it comes to that single part of a gamepad, i wouldn't really stress on them wearing out. They all do, eventually. There are certain rubbery paints, or coatings, where you can dip eg. an allen wrench, let it dry, and voilá, you have a rubber grip on your wrench. I'd use that on sticks, in case the joypad is otherwise still in good condition.

What i really like in this controller in addition to it's fairly large size, is that these sticks are really, really "loose". Not like Logitechs or X360's sticks, which require a certain (if however small) strenght to make them even move. I'm not so sure about that guy on my first vid saying about straight line of sight to the usb dongle. Mine is behind my monitor, away from straight line of sight (that bright blue led was really bugging me occasionally) and i have no problems or issues with reception.
