oh man that a sexy controller do you have one? and if so are the rubber pads good? i know that every controller i got that is not from M$ or Sony the rubber pads are very cheap and i play ffxi for hours when i had my ps2 controller with usb thing and then when playing FFXIV. I had this other controller but the rubber pads broke and pressing anything was useless that why i end up getting a Xbox controller.

Edit: for 80$ it better have good rubber pads and be a lasting controller lol

I do. I bought mine over a year ago with a scandinavian layout (has Ä, Ö and Å) for ~90 euros.
Rubber feels slighty slippery and smooth, unlike PS3's rubber. I'm guessing the feeling is closer to X360's rubbers. What it comes to that single part of a gamepad, i wouldn't really stress on them wearing out. They all do, eventually. There are certain rubbery paints, or coatings, where you can dip eg. an allen wrench, let it dry, and voilá, you have a rubber grip on your wrench. I'd use that on sticks, in case the joypad is otherwise still in good condition.
What i really like in this controller in addition to it's fairly large size, is that these sticks are really, really "loose". Not like Logitechs or X360's sticks, which require a certain (if however small) strenght to make them even move. I'm not so sure about that guy on my first vid saying about straight line of sight to the usb dongle. Mine is behind my monitor, away from straight line of sight (that bright blue led was really bugging me occasionally) and i have no problems or issues with reception.
It was weird at first but I could still type with it and the keys were very hefty to the touch. I would use the control-pad for action games though FFxi was action based, so it's okay.
On the other hand, I have this for PS3:
I rarely use it cuz my fingers aint that tiny to type with it constantly I have look down at the keyboard to know what button I'm hitting XD
