Probably not including Arcanist though, right? I think Arcanist should be available for testing. Since it's a new class, it'll probably need to be tested too. Might as well put it in the beta.

I would say probably not. Beta for 1.0 was not limited to LL jobs, while I believe alpha was.

Difference: they didn't lock you out if you started in a city without the right guild. You can buy the weapons for everything in every city, it wasn't until later did they change what the NPCs sold.

Technically, that can be tested internally since we're not going to be testing every class/job addition they add if ARR goes on long enough.
