Wait - is this regarding multiple in-game windows displayed in the game client, or in-game windows that can be displayed outside of the client (e.g., like having the map constantly open on a second monitor or something, etc.)?

What they are refering to is being able to alt+tab to a browser, document, etc. while the game is in fullscreen without crashing the game.

I think it's more like this comment from Reika. You would be able to have equipment screen open while having item screen AND shop window open. Or something like that.
