    As FFXI has been the most profitable game SE has ever had and is still the most profitable it makes little since to go so far away from what has made them so much. Though it seems FFXIV in its original form changed almost every component.

    Every Final Fantasy numbered series is different from one another. In terms of characters, story and game mechanics - that is a staple of the series. Of course it changed, it always does.

    This is not FFXI-2, nor do I want it to be...
