Agreed. At some point getting weaps from every primal gets a bit redundant.

They showed us some images of Titan weapons a few months back (they look weird) but it would definitely be nice to have some Primal armour too! As long as I can get hold of some fancy Leviathan-weapon I'll be forever happy <3

-.- I hope we don't get more Primal weapons. Ifrit, Moogle and Garuda sets are enough. I wanna get Shivan Plate, Shivan Robe, Shivan Harness etc as drops.

I disagree, I think it will be great to have a weapon set for each primal, each with its own elemental stat. If they focused more on elemental stats and effects in ARR then that would make each weapon quite unique even if the base damage is pretty much the same.

I disagree, I think it will be great to have a weapon set for each primal, each with its own elemental stat. If they focused more on elemental stats and effects in ARR then that would make each weapon quite unique even if the base damage is pretty much the same.

imagining a ramuh's weapon having a chance to proc lightning dmg, that inflicts also a paralyze effect to the opponent.

leviathan's weapon which can proc a waterspell, which heals a portion of damage.. garuda for a damage over time proc (like wind spell), ifrit's weapon that procs a direct fire damage spell. etc.

Except the stats are not all equal, meaning we don't have a choice in the weapons based on their element - we chose them based on overall stats. And let's face it, if Blizzard is used in 2.0 as much as it is in 1.0 any BLM worth their salt will simply use their relic/triple tier INT electrum/garuda.

Personally I want to collect a primal set of weapons for WHM...even if they will never replace my Thyrus (Or if they are able to well that is a Pandora's box none of us wants open... not inclusive of a pure DD weapon for Solo time)

I am really psyched to see the Books (ARN)

I guess we can only wait and see ^^

I'd like to see Shiva primarily magic based, maybe some ice arrows. Still tired of curing myself while tanking from Ifrit Extreme #dothedew. Soo... Lets not over do it with a ridiculous OP melee attack.

2nd thought: Maybe OP should offer a prize if (s)he wants serious entrees?
