    PS3 players are going to need a VOIP method, but the problem is that if you enable VOIP after the game is released and people have found their 3rd party alternatives, it's not likely to do well. There would be no reason to switch from Mumble/Skype/Steam/Vent to in-game VOIP.

    Ooo wait.... You said Steam. You can do voice and play games in Portal 2 with PC players. If FFXIV:ARR had Steam support it could happen.... lol But such a collaboration would be unlikely.
