You're the one being stupid here. Primary and most Efficient way means it'll be the best option to go with. Since FFXIV is likely your first MMORPG you probably don't understand the concept of people going the most quickest and efficient route.

If FFXIV isn't your first MMORPG, you're purposefully being in denial. Guildleves were never supposed to be the main way, the game released unfinished thus making it the only option to do so as trying to level on monsters could net you zero skill points after a battle. It wasn't until they adjusted everything did grind parties become an option. You also ignored up until they added allowances you were limited in Guildleves, so tell me, how was Guildleves supposed to be the main option for leveling if you couldn't always do them?

You are the one in denial, you are the one covering your ears and repeating out loud this ignoring everything else...the player always find a way around things...stuff that wasn't supposed to be zerged is zerged ,set ups that weren't meant for events are made work etc etc. i never liked grinding parties even if it was the best way in 1.0 .. leve parties were much more beneficial for me

You got that right, I agree with you. People will try to find a way to make it a possible method of leveling, but my fears is that they would go back and change it in favor of questing.
I for one, would take grinding over questing, if its somehow reasonable, but I know it won't as efficient. I just can't find myself going over all my jobs with quests.

Really? Your lord and savoir Tanaka said out of his mouth FFXIV would Revolve Around Guildleves I don't know any other way to interpret that line.

Even when people was doing the Guildleve exploits @ one point in 1.0 EXP pt's were still relevant for great exp(exping on Efts is an example). Simply put people will do more than one thing if they have the options. Anyway to me at the end of the day either it be grinding or questing your still just raping monsters mindlessly for exp.

I don't see why people are doubting that ARR is quest oriented above all else.. And there are people arguing that it should only be questing?

What are you trying to do? Do you want people to leave? Do you want even less people to play this? I'm not going to stay if the game bores me. I haven't seen anyone asking for grind party levelling only, stop making silly assumptions that that's what we're asking for.

I bought Final Fantasy XIV knowing that the game would be different from other MMORPGs, and that it offered more than just questing. To be completely honest, if you didn't know that Final Fantasy XIV wasn't going to offer a World of Warcraft experience, then you really don't research very well.

If the final product is a WoW clone, and there was a way I could get my money back, I would ask for my money back.

I didn't pay for a WoW clone that restricts me to questing. I paid for a game that offered a unique experience that allowed me to do what I wanted to do in a fantasy world.

I will not stay subscribed just because it's a Final Fantasy game. If I'm not willing to, then I don't doubt there will be others like me too.

If the style of gameplay you think is most fun takes a few days longer to get to level cap than what you think is boring, why would you choose boring? Sometimes the most fun way isn't the fastest way.

Plus, we still don't know how this "efficiency" is measured. If it's XP per mob, an XP grind party goes through many more mobs than the quest player. If it's XP per hour, perhaps the quest player is more casual and won't play as many hours. Either way, the XP grind party levels before the quest player.
