PlayStation 3 version: Why Bother?

Not really, if we're talking about total subscription numbers, we need to pay attention to ALL REGIONS rather than just Japan. If we want to look at Japanese subs only, then yes, my point is moot.

I thought this thread was about a Why they should make a PS3 version, not about the subscribers on said platform. Regardless of the fact that a subscription base exists for a PS3 version, what does FFXI comming out on PC first in america have to do with this?

Edit: You could of imported the japanese version. Just sayin'.
