Hence why I said not much of a difference? lol (meaning its useless, nothing even worth of effort, just incase someone might mention it. Come on, think present.) :3
I might be lacking sleep, but why you mention PS+ then lol? I'll figure it out later.
Perhaps PS+ members will get discounted expansion packs. Oh snap!

Kinda funny because two years ago PSN got hacked and went offline however you still can play Netflix without requiring PSN. Why you are forced to be logged in to play 99.9% of online games because you must update your firmware to the latest version to stop hacking and that's how Sony is considering for...
About SE servers, eh I don't think Sony wanna bother with it but SE would want you to update your PS3 like everyone has to!
PSN isn't like Xbox Live though.

Not going to read all 17 pages of this thread.
Aside from the customers yet to be gained from the PS3 market; SE has to hold up it's end of the deal and keep it's promises to all of us.
They mentioned it many times: The PS3 version is being created because 1.0 was supposed to have a PS3 version and they refuse to back down on that commitment because they wish to regain the trust of their customers and the only way to do that is to follow through with what they have already promised to us.

Yes, promise.
Actually I bought my PS3 at 2007 in the faith that FF13 and FF14 will be exclusive content for this console....
I am glad to see they are willing to keep the promise after 6 years.
But now I wish they can port FF14 to PS4 because the HW of PS3 is absolutely outdated.

There is a little Monkey in all of us....

You, sir, need a lesson in marketing. Or twenty. The several tens of million PS3s in nearly as many households aren't going to just disappear when Sony will release the PS4 that, mind you, hasn't even been announced yet.Final Fantasy XI was released for the PlayStation 2 first before other platforms, during the height of that console's popularity. The PS2 slim hadn't even been announced yet. And yet today, the PS2 version of Seekers of Adoulin will not be released in North America, and in general it is the PC version that seems to get the most support and attention from Square-Enix.
Now we have ARR on the horizon. 1.0, at least, was written for and graced the PC first. Meanwhile, all indications are the next PlayStation will be announced by the time ARR hits shelves; and there's certainly no guarantee that Sony's next console will play PS3 games.
With the cards already stacked against the PS3 version, and with the history of FFXI showing that support for console versions will get axed well before the PC version, why is Square-Enix bothering with releasing the PS3 version of the game at all at this point? And why should players make the commitment of buying the PS3 version when history shows they'll just have to move to the PC eventually anyway?
Don't worry about how the "cards are stacked". They know better than you.
Mind you, comparing the PS3 to the PS2 is as ridiculous as it comes. Seekers of Adoulin won't be released on a console that hasn't been part of the current generation for SIX years. The PS3 is still extremely far from that point.
You mean the past behavior that has been, in quite a few cases, thrown out of the window with Final Fantasy XIV?
You know, in the past Square Enix didn't even want to hear about official forums. You're writing nonsensical dribble on one now.
And mind you, if you want to look at "past behavior", you may want to look at the recent past, that recent past in which SE released Dragon Quest X on the Wii, and is re-releasing it with better graphics on the Wii U. Expansions and updates are continuing and are going to continue on the Wii version, despite it being an "obsolete" console.
I suggest checking your facts before you bring up "Past behavior" as evidence of something you evidently know very little about.
