    Padding more than likely, despite what you may think a kick to the groin hurts females too. not only that the risk of shattering the pelvis of a female is much much higher.

    The chocobo is definitely legacy. It has the black tips, as well as the unique barding, as well as the mark on its beak (which you can also see in the art of it).
    I kinda think the weird goggle things must be for locating something.
    As for the marks...considering they appear on their CLOTHING, I'm not sure if these are the same marks we'll get or not. I kind of assume our marks would have to appear somewhere on our skin. But it might be the same mark, I dunno.

    I too wondered about Thancred's hair. As for Yda, some women are shaped that way. It's called the 'mound of venus'. It has to do with more estrogen, so I guess Yda is very feminine despite what she appears.
