Would you like to have a spectator mode

Why so many people are asking for a "Spectator Mode"?! Would you really "play" a game to watch others playing?! Quite boring...

My personal hope is that there is more PvP to offer than just blob versus blob PvP. As long as there are smaller-scale PvP offerings available (2v2, 3v3, 5v5, 8v8, and/or 10v10), I will be happy. I personally do not find mass vs. mass-scale PvP compelling and don't like participating in it, although I hope it is still an option available to the people who prefer it.

Are you talking about planning for it in game or historically? Because historically its has been used for both one on one and many vs many because they want to simulate mortal combat and not every slave was a soldier or much able to wield any weapon at all. The training stables while old and well document not all slaves came from them as they had a higher price attached. And some prisoners were also thrown in as sport even though it was more so an execution with very lax rules Christians were slaughtered like this until the religion changed

It's not like you'll play every moment. Sometimes you become tired and just want to sit there, unfortunately just sitting in one place gets boring after a while so thats when spectator mode comes into play...

I'd like the coliseum to have no restriction on entering, so everyone is free to participate in the pit in a battle royal style, or if they wish they can watch in the stands.

Frontlines looks cool. Like a dungeon raid on an opposing free company?

Yoshi-P and crew have expressed an interest in doing PvP against us, the players. Wouldn't you like to watch that if you were unable to directly participate?
