Yep, that is what I like most about FFXIV. I think my fondest memories was from the very start of the game where we had to worked together to build an economy from scratch. I started as a black smith making tools for everyone, made me very happy people claiming their tools was made by me. I met most of my linkshell friends at the start of the game which started as a crafting LS then morphed into a NM hunting LS a month after NMs were introduced.
