Some asked who gets in from beta test phase 1

Good evening,

すでにフォローしてくださっている方もいらっしゃいますが、以下の2つに当てはまる方がβフェーズ1から参加できます。

1. FFXIVレガシー権利をお持ちの方
2. 参加応募サイトからテスターに当選された方

FFXIVサービスアカウントをお持ちの方については、βフェーズ3から必ず参加できます。
もちろん、当選すればβフェーズ1またはβフェーズ2から参加できますので、2013年1月上旬公開予定の新生FFXIV βテスター応募サイトから奮ってご応募いただければ幸いです。
Some people already followed up on the information but for phase 1 of beta test. If you fit in one of the two below you will be able to participate.

1. Those with FFXIV Legacy status
2. Those that were selected from the registration site

For those with FFXIV service accounts, you will definitely be able to participate from beta phase 3.
Of course, if you get selected at phase 1 or phase 2, you can participate from then. So would appreciate if you could please register once the ARR beta tester application is released at early time January, 2013.

lol i'm still confused with this ..there is a group of people that swear Legacy members don't need to move a finger to be in beta phase 1 and there is another group that swear we still will need to fill in an application XD!

Well the obvious and clear answer would be to just " Do the application anyways". What would it hurt? :P

I guess they will tell later and there will be a "yes" and "no" box to check if you are legacy member and if you lie you get banned for the rest of beta test O.o or something

Well your account has to be Flagged Legacy in order to Qualify. Even if that was a question in the Application, their systems would be able to pick it up and say in red " You don't have a Legacy account".

Not necessarily, the devs have hinted some non legacy member (probably those with great pcs) will get into the beta phase 1 and 2...

I mean to auto get into the Beta, there account has to be Flagged Legacy, Of course there will be others that will get in, but if you don;t have Legacy you have a very low chance of getting in ( much like Alpha) Phase 2-4 Non-Legacy members will have more of a chance since there will be 5-10 more worlds added.
