Decided to stop subbing the Live Letter after 17 minutes of subbed video...

Denmo graciously pointed to a Twitter post by Bayohne from April 5th,Twitter Pic, which shows they are in the process of subbing the video. Since the post was 4 days ago, I'm assuming the letter should be out sometime soon, but nevertheless, it IS being subbed, and thus, no reason for me to keep going.

Edit: I know there's some weird character glitches in the subs, a problem that happened only when I was hardcoding the subs in. Should still be readable though.

This could be a little ambiguous when translated- based on some people I have spoken with, it could be misconstrued, and alternately translated into "ideal".

Optimal: Best possible set.
Ideal: A decent set for success likelihood.

Could you please confirm whether optimal was or was not your intended terminology?

It sounds like what we had in XI as far as gear scaling..if you were synced down from a high lvl job (while wearing, for example, an Adaman Hauberk) to lvl 30, that Adaman Hauberk with scaled down stats woudn't be as strong as lvl 30 gear.

I agree that's the general idea, I just was hoping for a smidge of clarity on the matter, lol.

The translation accuracy is the general idea of what's been said before. The synced down gear will be decent, but it will not be as good/optimal as if you were wearing level 30 gear in a lvl 30 dungeon. It's doable, but i'm assuming this was done to keep low level gear somewhat in demand.
