Here's a tip to those that want to be restricted and prefer using normal means of travel. You can. No one holds you at gunpoint to use the "teleport" button. You're entirely free to ignore it.

I do it quite often in games that include both, and guess what? It works wonderfully.

I disagree that it is the same.

Its like saying you can get your first relic normally and then the rest are free in your bed. But if you want to experience the challenge you believe needed to be on the items you can volunteer to do it (for the rest). The feeling will be entirely different.

Unfortunately its a case were you must ask to be restricted to maintain the feeling of scale.
