This feels more "Final Fantasy" than FFXI or 1.0 did. But what makes a final fantasy is the story. We dont have any of that yet. Also with each Final Fantasy, they have changed the battle systems and the leveling systems. Looks like they are staying true to that, havent seen this battle system in any FF before.

But please, tell me in your own words what makes it "Final Fantasy" for you. Then we can discuss your "conserns".

I'm also terribly sorry for the people who are unsatisfied with the Battle systems we have been shown so far. This might not be the game for you. There are many people who are excited for it and have no problems.

i did not say GW2 was perfect i used it as an example and said they had the right idea, an idea is one thing a finished product is another and if SE takes good ideas they can deliver a better product then the compatition

that's why there's alpha, where people can give suggestions etc, to make changes.
that's why the game isn't even out yet, cause...they are working on improving it, so it's as good as it can be when they release it...
they already made many good changes, and many more good changes are coming.
So before you complain on a game in alpha stage vs a game that is already finished....you can wait a bit and try the game when it's ACTUALLY released, before complaining of how bad it is, and how other games are better.
I tried GW2 for free during event, and it wasn't very fun at all.
Like you said yourself, a finished product is another thing...
