what personal experience you did in ARR, since the best experience you could handle until now is a stress-test client with very limited functions ? Also, your life saver for a mmo are side games ? We already promised a theme park for that - aka gold saucer, isn't that enugh ff-ish for you ?

no not from Videos, from personal experience and they're not really assumptions just matter of opinion

i have also felt that for a new final fantasy mmo it has let me down very badly so far other then the game having chocobos and classic final fantasy enemy i find it hard to feel like i am even playing final fantasy, had the same problem with ffxi but i played that game for 8 years because it was new to me and exciting, where as FFXIV is not new to me or anyone else who played ffxi and it is quite honestly repetitive.

what i would really love to see or even hear about is some more interesting things like maybe having a Card game like from final fantasy 8 where you can run up to other players and dule them in an attempt to take there cards, also some kind of new sport like FFX had blitz ball, why cant ffxiv have more options for the player, it needs more freedom and range of different and new content to do, things that other mmos do not offer thing that only final fantasy can give and deliver in the right way, the potential is there it just needs to be utilized and directed correctly, yoshi is doing OK but i believe he can do a lot better. when i first heard about 14 i had a lot of expectations as did all of the people i planed on playing the game with so far non have been met.

I wish I were in this alpha. I have been in others and they always have a separate place that is secure for the testers to leave feedback, usually called and alpha/beta forum. Didn't realize this was a unique thing to FFXIV.

Common sense tells us that there would be an alpha forum. It's no secret. Anyone who's ever been in an alpha or beta knows a forum is created for them.

Now, if a person were to start quoting threads from that forum, that's where a problem would arise.
