This OP is complete bullshit. I'm in alpha no one there is on an inactive account. This is in NO way the RIGHT way to get the devs attention. How incredibly disrespectful.

nice try.
yes Sir, obviously someone who is actually playing alpha has an active account.
that does not mean they had an active FFXIV account when they applied.
quick! report him so he gets kicked and take his place! >
Lol it's pretty impressive you've managed to make friends with a whole alpha server to know this ^^
Wish I was that cool.

Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~
I guess everyone can make simple grammar/spelling mistakes while writing useless posts that add nothing to discussions.
And no offense, but LOL @ your "right to be frustrated".
Paying customers that are clearly told something and then that something is not honored, have a right to be disappointed and frustrated. The extent of that disappointment and frustration can vary between individuals, but I see nothing wrong with it.
Company: "Only our paying customers are entitled to this product/service."
Paying customer: "Yay!"
*Company delivers product/service to people that aren't paying customers, while leaving out a large number of paying customers.
Paying customer: "WTF?!"
I would say frustration and disappointment are entirely justified, but hey, you're entitled to your own opinion.

He never said ever that current players had first come first serve he said a long time ago that he wanted people who don't play the game to give feed back and we had a thread just like this with people crying in it.Paying customers that are clearly told something and then that something is not honored, have a right to be disappointed and frustrated. "- Must currently have an active FINAL FANTASY XIV account"
Not sure what part of it you do not understand. I would paraphrase for your sake, but I'm not really sure how to make it clearer than that.

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
