I've read all the light novels currently available translated so I know what happens =P the anime may not be up to par with them, but then, what series ever does well when converted from it's original platform. The anime as a stand alone is pretty bad ass.

Also I have to agree that this technology would be more comparable to .hack// than SAO but still, DO WANT!

Back to original topic:

I think the Occulus rift for any game is a brilliant idea. I understand it could be harder to implement with non-FP games but entirely worth it. If FF14 ever began to support it, I would buy that equipment so fast. I'm surprised more people aren't chomping at the bit here; isn't a full immersion VR every gamers dream? or is that just me haha? Either way I think it's an awesome idea and I hope some where down the road (sooner rather than later) it gets picked up and the support for it gets amped way up.

Might not work with FFXIV but would be cool project to put into FF series for sure, who wouldn't love to be in real Final Fantasy world?

I don't know why people keep saying it wouldn't work tbh... FFXIV has a first person camera... add an UI tailored to that one and you get
