I sir or madam have played FF's before and I like the fact no two FF's have the same animations for spells or they would all be the same game with different charas in it >.>

animations, spell effects themselfs have changed a lot over the years which is good because a poison spell in one game and a poison spell in another should have somewhat different effects without destroying the effect completely

I hate to break it to you, but all black magic spellcasting animations have been the same for all spells in previous FF titles. The spell effect itself is what changes, but the hand motions the characters go through doesn't differ between spells.
I ment from game to game not spell to spell lol i can see where that was misunderstood
