Ah, so pressing it not only toggles sprint, it makes you run forward without tilting the left stick? Carry on then, this is just my ignorance as not much of a console player.

It's a combat ability right now. It sounds like you're confused about what I posted.
In an FPS, L3 makes you run faster by toggle but you still have to use the left stick to control your movement. So no.
because you can put it on action bar, it doesnt mean you will gonna use it for battle....heck even return can be put on the action bar...

If you're gonna troll, at least manage to get more than 2 pages in before screwing up. C'mon Neptune. You've gotten rusty.
Sprint is as much a combat action as Teleport, Return, or Jump. Meaning, it's not. You can put pretty much anything on the action bars in ARR.
Considering it immediately reduces your TP to 0, it would never feasibly be used in combat anyway. If anything, it's a non-combat only ability that can easily be tucked away in that unused spot on your 3rd bar that you'd switch to when in town or w/e.
Your argument didn't fall apart. It was never together to begin with. Such a poor effort.
You press and tilt to any direction you want to move with the left analog stick. The right analog stick controls the camera.
