7K LOL and people say Macs are overpriced.
Macs are overpriced and we aren't just talking about overpriced as compared to building it yourself. They charge a lot in parts. All places that have pre-built or custom built computers charge for the package with them building it, Apple seems to charge a bigger premium for that and a crazy amount for parts especially upgrades. Why? Because they can and people will buy it. They do an amazing job in build quality, and they have a nice exclusive Apple logo that they sued a lot of people to have the rights to.
Also, Alienware is expensive, but you get more for your buck (the last time I looked at least) then you would with an Apple product, which is why people go there when they have the money to spend on a premium gaming rig.
That being said I have nothing against them besides there inability to stop suing everyone just because they hate competition. They make good products and can be used for a wide variety of applications.
7k computer and you could develop your own game.

Macs ARE overpriced. Lord knows how this guy found a way to drop 7k for FFXIV... I ran it on full settings in 1.0 with a 1k custom build. With all the AA and max shadows I'd guestimate NO MORE than 2k for a desktop absolute tops.
Overpriced is a relative term .... if you don't have the money, then even a loaf of bread could be called overpriced.
You're confusing "unaffordable" with "overpriced". You can look at the market value of something, then look at a specific brand/retail price to determine if something is overpriced, regardless of who intends to purchase it.
A $3 loaf of bread is unaffordable for someone with $1.
A $6 loaf of the same bread, but with a different sticker on it, is overpriced for everyone.
HOW DARE YOU MAKE SENSE ON THESE HERE LODESTONEZ!!!You're confusing "unaffordable" with "overpriced". You can look at the market value of something, then look at a specific brand/retail price to determine if something is overpriced, regardless of who intends to purchase it.
