New Race! Ronso? Yes please.

2 cents; I like the Viera, not because sexy or girly but because of the character "type" it represents. People always comment about it being a sexy race so it's negated by Mi'quote, but truthfully I don't think of Viera as a "sexy" race, the appeal for me is the lore. Everyone talks about the bunny ears but they aren't bunny ears, they are a representation of the connection and how in tune the Viera are with the Wood(not intended as a pun, get your mind out of the gutter). I will admit they resemble bunny ears but imo has no corolation with Hugh Hefner type bunnies as implied in several threads. They are a substantive race with a very good backstory and it could fit seamlessly into the Eorzean lore.

I like Ronso too as I said before but I think it resembles two of the other races and Viera have a better lore and character design.

That's great and all, but they won't be the same amazons from Ivalice. I mean, Rogadyn are not male only indentured servants, elezen don't stem from a monarchy of arrogance, Miquote don't come from a jungle island, and lalafell are prairie and dune folk.

The lore will be different for this new race.

I agree that whatever they do will have it's own new lore to fit into Hydaelyn. Heck for all we kno they could even add new head/tail-less styles to look like a Viera and just pass it off as some newly found Miqo'te Tribe (newly found to us, Eorzea might already kno of their whereabouts/location). I admit this would be the lazy way of going about this but I wouldn't mind if they did so they could still create a new race while still giving people Viera. And before people say Miqo'te aren't Viera just remember, they're not Mithra neither.
