no the onlky free LS's broke up after petty loot fights. I tried looking for other Ls's that did content and all were full. try asking me wjat content I seen before personally attacking someone.
No thanks. 20% is 20% right? Did you skip the 80% of the begging and saw the 20% of the end game stuff? It's like youre addicted to bankrupting your own points.
Because you almost never know why you're talking about?
It would be more like: Says the guy who's actually played the game extensively Vs... you, lol.
1700+ post of you BSing your way through a game you have no idea about.
First, it most certainly not 100%. You know how many pairs of pants we got from that damn ant? TONS
Also, I would imagine they plan to cut anima down quite a large amount once we finally get Chocobo's (which I'm hoping is sooner than later since I saw that Gysahl Greens were added in the patch) and airships, so that it becomes simply a mode of fast travel not meant to be used extensively as we currently do.
Imagine if we had 10 anima with the current rates, but chocobos and airships were open, and I needed to be in Limsa in 40 minutes, yet I had a leve in Halatali which I needed to do beforehand. I would ride the chocobo to Halatali, and then use 6 of my 10 anima to teleport to Limsa to make it in time, then since there was no longer anything urgent going on, I could just take the airship back to Ul'dah. Sounds reasonable imo =V
Otherwise though, stop complaining, this isn't and never will be Final Fantasy XI-2
FFXIV has always always been touted as a casual MMO. If you bought into it and totally ignored this thinking it would really be hardcore heaven then isn't that your own fault?
People seem to be playing FFXIV and expecting it to be like FFXI during it's hardcore years, this is not going to be what they do with a new MMO. Hardcore players are far less valuable than casuals, this has been proven time and time again. For people pining for FFXI, maybe you need to go and see what Square have done to FFXI lately.
FFXI now is 100% a purely casual MMO, XP is incredibly easy and fast to get, you don't have to group ever, endgame is among the easiest and most casual of any MMO, the top tier endgame NMs repop in a matter of minutes, can all be duo'd and have upwards to 90% drop rate if you perform the correct WS, players get massive buffs making all the fights easy for any player. If you want to see how casual endgame is going to go in XIV you should probably go check out XI. Casual & hardcore all wear exactly the same easy to get gear.

I have always said from the get go April and May would be the deciding of this games future. If the May update is horrid and hardcore content is not properly added then I will probably no longer support this game. As of right now there are 3-4 Major things I expect to see in the May update...
Completion of the new Battle System
Proper Introduction of Companies
Hardcore Endgame Dungeons
Additional Travel Options
If 3 of these 4 things are not in 1.18 then I seriously doubt I will continue playing the game through the summer. The time for Half Measures and talk is past. I consider myself Hardcore, I do not like to get things easily, I was ecstatic seeing 20+ NM added to the game, I was disheartened at the 5 minute respawn times, I was even more disheartened when I found things to be worthless that the Monsters dropped because they are only good for 3-4 levels. I understand this is Midgame content and that is fine, but as of right now 60% of this game is capable of doing content at 50 and we still have no level 50 content.
Now I understand Yoshi has said from the get go 50 content cannot be implemented until the new battle Mechanics and system are in place. That is fine but that is also 30 days away... So as of now the clock is ticking and the Dev team is running out of time.
You just stated the problems though. I am not trying to bash on anyone or trying to insult the developers, because they are definitely heading in the right directions but just need more time. Yet, I think we can all agree on a few things. A casual MMORPG is great and all, it attracts a larger player base, AT FIRST, but you can't make it too casual. If everyone gets to end game in a few weeks or days or whatever and they have literally been everywhere and done everything and there is no challenge then guess what, that huge player base you accumulated from making the game casual is going to disappear because it will eventually get boring. You need to have challenges and incredibly difficult quests and mobs to be in any MMORPG no matter how casual you want it to be. And yea, a lot of people will compare this game to FFXI, but the truth is, there is a lot of stuff this game can gain from past experiences with FFXI, a lot of things that will make the game better. All in all, the game isn't the best but is definitely getting better, with a lot of room for improvement of course.FFXIV has always always been touted as a casual MMO. Haven't we already been told that 1.18 will be the high-level dungeon?
Next update will be for high levels, this update was for mid-levels. There is more to life in Eorzea than endgame, you know. It's one friggin' patch. Deal with it.
