Global Alpha Test Start Date

How would one "prove" they're an Alpha tester with an inactive account when they can't really post any of their personal information (as it's against the NDA to reveal you're a tester)?

All we have is multiple people on several different forums (not on this one of course as they don't have access here in the first place) writing they received an invite without having an active account. I have personally seen posts of this on three different forums and from several people, some of them posting screenshots or quotes from the e-mail. I haven't checked those forums since Monday so they may be cleaned up already (as fansite admins don't really like having NDA breaches on their forums) but there was discussion on the subject on reddit just a minute ago.

Sure, it can be a huge trolling campaign just to piss people off but managed to convince me. And these reactions remind me of the Arcanist ninja update: "HOW CAN YOU PROVE THERE WAS ANYTHING ON THE SITE - MUST BE PHOTOSHOP!"

To be fair that kind of attitude is normally on both sides. It's unfortunate, but that's game forums for you.

When I defend SE I'm called a white knight or a fanboy. When I criticize them, I'm a troll or a whiner or a crybaby. That's some identity crisis material right there.

That's a good sign that I'm just a balanced poster with a rather realistic point of view that will praise when it's due and criticize when it's warranted.

While Yoshida doesnt represent SE as a legal arbiter (I think... not impossible.. unlikely) I'm sure if Yoshida said so then the reps and gms would uphold the bosses word as if pardoned in the NDA.

Sure. I think that's very possible. Still, would you bet your alpha account on it?
