




OH man I really hate that. I mean I know about it so its cool for me but I get people asking me "why isnt my system using all its memory". And I face palm at microsoft and ask "Are you running 64bit pro version?" and they say no and then I face palm at microsoft again.


Why facepalm at microsoft? 32 bit was a nessisary version of windows 7 for compatibility reasons.





Microsoft has ram limitations as part of the 64 bit versions. Home is 8gb but premium is 16gb. If you have 16gb but not premium windows 7 you have 8gb anyways.
Windows 8 has hilarious limits though 128(home)/512 gb(pro)...

128/512GB ram.... damn times are changing fast.... lol I still remember when I was going OMFG this game needs 15 floppy disks to install on my hard drive.... Enjoy loading all of your programs into memory at once, and then shortly melting your cpu.
All I can think of about older windows is all the crashes and memory leaks >.>. Must.. re..star...t... blue screen (leaks more then blue screens but w.e I think its awkwardly funny when it happens at the same time).

i suggest you get a SSD its almost a must on new systems

anyone here heard or read if ARR have Ambient Occlusion setting?
