Our armor is made of fabric. Yet when we take damage from Fire/Fira or a Firaga our armor doesn't get burnt to a crisp, nor does it get cut to shreds.

People on here tend to jump to the conclusion that any thread criticizing jump means "NO JUMP PLZ!". The issue here is not whether or not one can jump, but whether or not one can jump onto a tent. I say lower the height of the jump. Make it so that you can jump over fence and whatnot, but jumping twice your own height is impossible. Or if you are just concerned about the tent and nothing else, make the tent taller. There problem fixed.

But the real problem should be.. they didn't jumped on that tend in 1 jump <_< why everyone are assuming they jumped directly in the roof ?

Say S-E fixed all that, added cloth physics, made you stumble and shit or fall through the tent if you're standing on it. Then what? Should that hole in the roof stay there forever, should we see NPCs working on it? Because it magically fixing itself is unrealistic. Now a bigger problem arise, you're gonna whine that your PC can't run the game.
Or they can set invisible walls next to tents but then you can't really complain that jumping on tents is not realistic since now an invisible force is keeping you from jumping on it. I don't know about you, but I'll take jumping on the tent over invisible walls or unable to run the game at good FPS.

I would love if the hair in ARR was like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOlQ_YeR6Gc but it's time for US, the players to be realistic. Some things are just not possible if you want to reach out to as many people as possible.

Why not make a game of it then?

Smaller tents that can be jumped on can take only so much until they fall apart. In which triggers a F.A.T.E for DoH so they can repair it.
